Whether you've dined with us at The Table or at one of our catered functions, you know that we take the cleanliness of all aspects of our food prep and service very seriously. We are proud of how we maintain a fresh and sanitary commercial prep kitchen and service area by:
- Constantly wiping all surfaces with commercial-grade sanitizing wipes before, during, and after service. This includes but is not limited to: all counter tops, refrigeration and freezer doors, handles, and shelves, sinks and handles
- Food handling is done in accordance with local and state-level practices regarding gloves and head wear
- HAND WASHING! Our staff is trained on how to properly wash hands; for at least 20 seconds with antibacterial soap several times throughout their shifts including but not limited to: upon arrival and before leaving any shift; before plating courses, before serving plates, after washing dishes, and after leaving the restroom. **Our open kitchen layout provides guests the opportunity to see all the hand washing we do!**
- Dish washing practices always include sanitation
- Sourcing and serving only the freshest ingredients. Our kitchen set up does not include any large "walk-in" refrigeration areas, thus we don't "sit on" large quantities of food (that can get old!)
- Though we have always cleaned high traffic-touch areas such as doorknobs and drawer handles, we are specifically focusing on wiping those areas down with antibacterial wipes at least 2 times per shift.
And in addition, we are now:
- Wearing face masks and gloves when prepping and serving
- Requiring all vendors to leave deliveries right inside the doorway rather than coming into our kitchen and service space
- Requiring staff who feel ill to reschedule their shifts
- Delivering our Freshly Prepared Meals to customers' and calling or texting upon arrival
- Accepting online or over-the-phone payment only for Fresh Meal Deliveries for contact-less purchasing
