Catering Team Member

Chef Paul Barron is seeking professional, dependable, and hospitality driven individuals to join our growing catering team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a team environment and takes pride in delivering expectational service.

Position  (Part-Time and "As Needed" Position)
As a Catering Team Member, your main goal will be to provide polished and attentive service at in-home dinner parties, catered events, and private gatherings at The Table. You will assist in event setup and breakdown, food and beverage service, and ensuring each guest has an exceptional experience from start to finish.

This is a part time, as needed position, typically evenings and weekends, with occasional weekday events. Flexibility is required, as our events take place at various locations. The ideal candidate is professional, detail oriented, and brings a positive attitude to every event. We are a close-knit team that takes a group-oriented approach rather than operating in strictly individual roles. Everyone supports one another to ensure seamless execution.

Responsibilities
  • Provide attentive, professional food and beverage service
  • Dishwashing is a significant part of this position, as all service ware is hand washed at each event
  • Set up and breakdown of events
  • Work closely with Chefs and event leads to ensure a seamless experience
  • Work well with Chef Paul Barron Team
  • Interact with guests in a warm and polished manner
  • Represent the Chef Paul Barron brand with professionalism
 
Qualifications
  • Prior serving experience preferred (but not required) 
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends

Prep Cook/Dishwasher 

Chef Paul Barron is seeking a dependable and hardworking professional to join our growing Culinary Team.  This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, good at multi-tasking, and is eager to learn and grow within a creative culinary setting. Culinary Students are encouraged to apply! 

Position  (Part-Time and "As Needed" Position with a Full-Time Opportunity)
As our Prep Cook / Dishwasher, your main goal will be to support the Chef and Chef de Cuisine with food preparation and overall kitchen operations, ensuring events run smoothly from start to finish. This includes washing and sanitizing dishes, cookware, and equipment, as well as assisting with basic food prep and event packing as needed.

​This is a part-time and “as needed” position, typically Wednesday through Saturday (and occasional additional days). Evening, and holiday availability is required, and flexibility is a MUST, as we work at various locations for catered and private events.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, dependable, and brings a positive attitude to the kitchen. We are a close-knit team that takes a group-oriented approach rather than operating in strictly individual roles. Everyone supports one another to ensure a seamless event experience.

Responsibilities
  • Wash and sanitize all dishware, cookware, and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
  • Assist the Chef and Chef de Cuisine with food preparation
  • Support packing and setup for catered events 
  • Assisting our Culinary Team in the kitchen at events
  • Follow food safety and sanitation standards
 
Qualifications
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Team-oriented and willing to assist whenever needed
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Ability to lift 50lbs, stand for long periods of time

Administrative Assistant

​Chef Paul Barron is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Sales Manager & Event Coordinator with daily administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, enjoys managing tasks, staying on top of details, professional, and enjoys working in a hospitality environment.

Position  (Part-Time and "As  Needed" Position with Full-Time Opportunity)
As our administrative assistant, your main goal will be to handle day-to-day office and administrative tasks that keep the business moving. You will help with client communications, organization, and general office support, freeing up the Sales Manager and Event Coordinator to focus on planning and executing events.
​
Additionally, if you are interested in serving at events, we can offer extra hours assisting with in-home dinner parties, private events, and gatherings at The Table, our downtown Madison location.

Responsibilities
  • Track and manage routine administrative tasks that often get delayed during busy periods
  • Prepare documents as needed 
  • Provide general support to Sales Manager & Event Coordinator
  • Optional: Serve and Assist at Events
 
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing multiple small tasks and priorities
  • Professional and courteous communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
  • Self-motivated and able to take initiative
